Notifications can have their “content object” or audience refined based on the organizational structure and or the content taxonomy and the classification hierarchy to which it belongs. Notifications can be “one-off” or scheduled based on recurring periods either by duration or with reference to a content items own dates e.g. a contracts expiration date can be leveraged to send reminders of increasing frequency as the expiration approaches until a specific task is completed.
